# Laptop Rules

## ⚖️ System-Specific Rules

> These rules apply to the following gameplay systems: **Boosting**, **Drugs**, **Gangs**, **Racing**, and **Business Management**.\
> All players must follow these rules in addition to the general community guidelines.

### 🚗 Boosting Rules

Boosting is a criminal activity involving the theft and delivery or retention of high-end vehicles.

#### ✅ Allowed

* Use of in-game mechanics to transfer, auction, or start contracts.
* Cooperative RP during boosts (lookouts, drivers, etc.).
* Scratching VINs to legally own stolen vehicles.

#### ❌ Not Allowed

* Skipping required mechanics (lockpick, VIN scratch, delivery).
* Using multiple characters to farm contracts.
* Griefing or camping drop-off locations.
* Interfering without IC motive or prior RP interaction.
* Police or EMS using OOC/admin knowledge to intervene.

> **Note:** Bugged contracts must be reported immediately. Exploiting them will result in penalties.

### 💊 Drug System Rules

Players can craft and sell drugs using labs, cooking tables, and strain progression across zones.

#### ✅ Allowed

* Owning multiple tables or labs (on a single character).
* RP-based sales to players or local NPCs.
* Organic drug progression tied to in-character activity.

#### ❌ Not Allowed

* Running drug operations on multiple characters.
* Destroying labs or tables without IC conflict or build-up.
* Zone griefing (blocking, stashing inside, glitching).
* Resetting zones for profit with no RP justification.
* Sharing strain data or locations across characters (Metagaming).

> **Note:** Drug XP, stash data, and strain popularity are sensitive and IC-only.

### 🏴‍☠️ Gang Rules

Gangs offer organized crime roleplay through crafting, stashes, turf control, and exclusive systems.

#### ✅ Allowed

* Creating gangs through RP and staff approval.
* Managing members, zones, and crafting access.
* Coordinated conflicts with RP escalation.

#### ❌ Not Allowed

* Belonging to more than one gang (across characters).
* KOS or random attacks without RP reason.
* Mass-crafting or laundering via gang menus without RP.
* Transferring gang-related knowledge across characters.

> **Note:** Inactive or rule-breaking gangs may lose access to systems, stashes, or laptop features.

### 🏁 Racing Rules

The Racing system includes crews, track building, and high-stakes street races.

#### ✅ Allowed

* Hosting and joining races via the Racing App.
* Crew formation, progression, and sponsorship.
* Betting and pink slip races with prior agreement.

#### ❌ Not Allowed

* Using bugged vehicles or unauthorized models.
* Racing through high-pop RP zones (spawn, legion, etc.).
* Pink slip scams or fake bets.
* No cooldown RP when caught mid-race by police.

> **Note:** Pink slip races are binding. Admin oversight is optional but recommended.

### 🏪 Business Rules

Businesses are RP centers offering legal economic gameplay through inventory, employee, and zone systems.

#### ✅ Allowed

* Stocking zones, hiring staff, and setting prices.
* Hosting events, managing reputation, and collaborating with gangs/crews (via RP).
* Handling customer disputes and employee relations IC.

#### ❌ Not Allowed

* Laundering illegal goods through business systems.
* Inventory abuse or dupe glitches.
* Unauthorized resale of business items through criminal networks.
* Zone griefing or abusing NPC-based economies.

> **Note:** Business abuse may lead to zone shutdown, inventory loss, or removal of licenses.

### ⚠️ Enforcement & Clarification

Admins may take the following actions in response to rule violations:

* Revoke access to systems (labs, contracts, stash houses, etc.)
* Reset XP, remove items/vehicles gained via exploits.
* Ban or character wipe for repeated violations.
* Investigate activity that appears suspicious or system-abusive.

> When in doubt, open a ticket in Discord and wait for admin clarification.
