#### **Preamble**

The strength of Dominion lies in its community — citizens, workers, law enforcement, and developers alike. Every person who steps into the city shapes its atmosphere. Respect and professionalism are not mere courtesies; they are the foundations of lasting immersion, meaningful storytelling, and a safe environment for everyone.

### **Section 1 — Mutual Respect**

All citizens of Dominion must treat others with dignity, empathy, and restraint, both **in-character (IC)** and **out-of-character (OOC)**.

* Disrespect, harassment, bullying, or personal attacks — whether verbal, written, or implied — are prohibited.
* Arguments or disputes should be addressed calmly through roleplay, staff assistance, or proper reporting channels.
* Discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, orientation, or identity will result in immediate disciplinary action.

**Interpretation:**\
The city thrives on cooperation and maturity. Heated RP moments can and will happen, but OOC toxicity has no place here. If you feel anger rising, disengage — step out of character before saying something that damages the community.

**OOC Note:**\
\&#xNAN;*First offenses may result in a warning or temporary removal. Repeated disrespect or harassment will lead to permanent expulsion from* Dominio&#x6E;*.*

**Example:**

* ✅ *Acceptable:* Two gang members insult each other IC during a turf dispute.
* ❌ *Unacceptable:* A player privately messages another with real-life insults after losing a fight.

### **Section 2 — Roleplay Boundaries**

Every player has the right to establish personal boundaries within roleplay.

* Scenes involving trauma, harm, or adult themes must always have **mutual consent**.
* Forcing others into uncomfortable or distressing RP (even IC) will be treated as OOC harassment.
* Players may request to pause, skip, or modify a scene if it becomes inappropriate.

**Interpretation:**\
Dominion encourages deep storytelling — but never at the cost of a player’s comfort. You can play a villain without being one. Communication is key.

**OOC Note:**\
\&#xNAN;*Staff may immediately halt RP that crosses personal or ethical boundaries. Respect the stop command when used (“/stopRP” or equivalent).*

### **Section 3 — Staff Interaction**

Staff members act as the city’s judiciary and mediators.

* Respect all administrative decisions and instructions.
* Do not argue in public chats or interrupt RP scenes during investigations.
* If you believe a decision was unfair, submit an appeal through the official channels rather than engaging in public disputes.

**Interpretation:**\
Staff operate as the unseen lawkeepers who ensure fairness and stability. They are not above the law but are empowered to uphold it. Their word in-the-moment stands so RP can continue uninterrupted.

**OOC Note:**\
\&#xNAN;*Disrespecting or threatening staff is treated as a serious offense, resulting in suspension or permanent ban.*

### **Section 4 — Language and Communication**

* Keep public communications appropriate for a mature yet respectful community.
* Excessive swearing, slurs, or targeted insults (even “in-character”) can cross lines quickly.
* Always remember: “IC doesn’t mean consequence-free.” Hate speech is never acceptable, even under RP context.

**Interpretation:**\
Language defines tone. A city filled with clever wit, charm, and personality builds immersion far better than one filled with senseless profanity.

### **Section 5 — Conflict Resolution**

Before escalating any disagreement to staff, attempt to resolve it respectfully among involved parties.

1. **Pause and communicate OOC** using /ooc or a similar channel.
2. **Clarify misunderstandings** — many disputes arise from misinterpreting intent.
3. **Contact staff** only if the issue cannot be resolved civilly or if a clear rule was broken.

**Interpretation:**\
Euphoria values maturity. Most issues stem from miscommunication, not malice. Solving them calmly strengthens trust among players.

### **Section 6 — Professional Representation**

Every citizen represents the city. This includes conduct in Discord, social media, and external communities.

* Speaking on behalf of Dominion without authorization is forbidden.
* Public defamation or hostility toward the server, its staff, or its members outside the game is considered community damage.

**Interpretation:**\
Reputation matters. Dominion strives to be a respected community. Public behavior reflects on everyone within it.

\&#xNAN;*Trolling, spreading misinformation, or inciting hate outside of the city environment may result in global ban and removal of whitelist access.*
